ORIGINALITY LOST

...this world has become plagued with non-originality. Granted there is nothing new under the sun, but being so blatantly bogus, come on. Look at our TV programs we have become inundated with reality TV shows or more likely "scripted" reality. We just rip the past off and don't give credit to the creators. Instead of using our imagination to create we grab the nearest yahoo's who would do anything told to them for the almighty dollar. We have become a voyeuristic society, we want everyone in our business, we've scrapped our private lives for the hope, or desperation's, of instant fame, if even for a few seconds.

The media has either forgotten or left all boundaries of decency, prying into people's lives, they blow unnecessary or irrelevant circumstances into worldwide prominence, putting into the forefront matters that should remain personal. They are not held responsible for their actions, which has become one of the main problems, they have become free to print or say whatever they want, instead of giving non bias information, which news is supposed to be and do, we get personal opinions.
The government has become more and more involved in their citizens lives and usually it's under the guise of "they're helping us." They stand on their hills looking down at us while pissing on us, thinking to themselves, "who cares, they'll take what we give them." More and more we drift toward a police state,a government controlled and run community.

Music has gone the same way. With portable MP3 players, laptop computers and gaming system any wanna-be can be in a band, "make music" or DJ. These have taken away all the work and have handicapped us with convenience. With computers you can be a lousy singer or a fair guitarist or an unknowing DJ and the computer can fix it all for you depending on what program you've loaded in it.

Everyone has turned into a victim or an addict because that's the cool thing to do. And if you're not one yet you'll want to be one soon, so you can get the attention you've always craved.

We have become inundated with wanna-be's and poseurs, all longing to be anything other then themselves and who they are. This has become acceptable in today's society.

The free thinkers are dying. Intellect has become replaced by ignorance and slipping more and more toward stupidity. Hard work has been replaced by entitlement and do enough to get by. Decency and common courtesy has been replaced by rudeness and selfishness.

Obliviously we remain: sinking, soon to drown. Liking what we've become even with the knowledge of the wrong we've created for ourselves. We celebrate our demise, in style.

So get your latte from the nearest corporate coffee shop, grab a recliner and watch in comfort as America burns to the ground...

So what constitutes hate speech?

If I call someone a nigger is that hate speech? What about if that person is not black or I use the word in it's truest meaning, "a person of any race or origin regarded as contemptible, inferior, ignorant, etc"? (dictionary.com)

How about if I was to refer to President Barack Obama as a nigger, even if I use it in terms of the above definition, without any regard to his skin color? Is that hate speech? Come on when it comes down to it it's just a word, a word never killed anyone. Like the old saying goes, "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me."

Shouldn't people get over it? I think some people hold on to oppression because they are too weak minded to live free. They would be the same people buying into "political correctness." If I was to say I think someone should do harm to Obama, would that be hate speech or a threat? If I was to say that about any other random person is that hate speech or a threat? Why is the President above the law?

If I was to ask you the reader are you a nigger, is that hate speech?

If Obama is a nigger according to the definition above, would that make people who agree with him, nigger lover's? Where do we draw the line? Or maybe a better way of saying it is, when are we going to grow up? What happened to freedom of speech?

The "n" word, that's funny. Just say it and feel the freedom, because you know most people are saying it in the privacy of their own homes, because people are afraid of being ostricized, because the "politically correct" police will come and get them.

I'd rather die on my feet, then have "limited" freedom on my knees.

Why is nigger the only "so called" racist word denoted to a single letter, "n?" Are we playing racial favorites? Why isn't wetbacks the "w" word or beaners the "b" word? Or honky the "h" word or chink the "c" word or nip the "n" word oh wait that's already taken, too bad if your Japanese?

Get over it people. People are so weak now a days, "oh you hurt my feelings." Toughen up and don't be a faggit, oh wait is saying faggit considered hate speech? Don't get me started with that word, yeah the other "f" word.

WAZ UP PLAYAZ/GOOD RIDDANCE DAY

Three reasons I wouldn't celebrate this guys birthday, but I would celebrate his death day.

1. I'm not black so he didn't do anything for me. His dream died when he died. If he was alive now he'd be thankful he had died, otherwise he'd probably kill himself seeing what has become of his race.

2. This so-called holiday take away from my conveniences, like going to the bank or the post office, or keeping kids in school, because we all know they could benefit from some more education. Wasn't he a pastor/reverend shouldn't he have been in his church preaching the gospel and saving souls instead of trying to be a political figure/leader. Why are blacks the only race that needs a leader, white's don't or brown's don't have a single leader trying to represent the whole races view.

3. He cheated on his wife. This is something we rarely hear about, because for some reason he's been elevated to sainthood. In the words of a college professor I once had in discussing this her excuse for him was,"it gets lonely on the road." I'm sure his wife would have been perfectly fine with that as an excuse.
